In response to an increasing demand for new development, the City of Rehoboth Beach engaged Strategic Solutions® to assess the city’s permitting, licensing, and application approval processes. With a primary goal of managing expectations and bringing consistency to projects ranging from residential and commercial development, to open space improvements and subdivisions, we completed process mapping of existing procedures, reviewed roles and responsibilities of individuals and departments, and evaluated city software and its usage. Strategic Solutions’ recommendations addressed key areas such as communication, documentation and tracking, accountability, and technology to help the city better facilitate review processes.
